Station Casinos are betting bigger is better

When most companies are cutting back with the slow economy, the Station Casinos are betting big. In a bold move the Local Casino giant announced a stunning project located west of the Las Vegas Strip at the I-15 and Tropicanna, larger than MGM's City Center located at the site of the Wild Wild West.

The first phase of the project named Viva will feature three hotels with roughly 5,200 rooms on one hundred acres. This bold move will cost the Stations Casino's ten billion dollars rivaling MGM Mirage's eight billion dollar City Center project. Once completed the project will be the most expensive off the Strip casino hotel project and a daring project compaired to the last Stations project a one billion dollar project which is now known as Red Rock Resort & Spa.

At the end of 2008, the local casino mogal is planning on openning its Aliante Station located in North Las Vegas and also begin work on Durango Station located on the west side of the Las Vegas Valley. Station Casino's are planning an agressive expansion over the next few years with the various properties they own in the valley.
